Commerical rocket launch pads are usually very expensive, and the cheaper ones are flimsy and not studry enough. So, I decided to make my own.
I used pvc pipes and pvc glue to make the legs, an old pot lid to make the platform, a metal washer to protect the lid from the blast of rocket motors, and I cut a hole through the lid to allow a rail guide to fit in. The rail guide is necessary to give rockets a stable flight. This launch pad is really sturdy, can be taken apart and transported easily, and it saved a lot of money.
